Welcome to CEID!

Every child is unique and different from others in terms of their skills and behaviors. And for parents, their child’s health, development and welfare is always the foremost concern. Often, the lack of proper guidance and transparency during testing, diagnosis and intervention can make the experience a daunting one for both parents and child.

Keeping in mind your concerns and needs, CEID, has been specially designed to:

  • Provide clients with a positive and supportive environment conducive for testing and intervention.
  • Identify and address developmental needs of children from birth to adolescence in a compassionate and empathetic manner.
  • Plan for and provide tailor-made intervention or therapy to children, focusing on “fun and play.”

Our Mission

At CEID, we aim to help children attain their maximum potential by holistically training them across all developmental domains.

It has been found that delayed development of any one core performance skill (such as gross motor skills, fine motor skills, speech- language, socio-emotional and cognitive skills, and daily living skills) can adversely affect the overall functioning and performance of the child. A holistic approach to treatment is therefore crucial, as it helps to address all concerns simultaneously, improving the overall performance of the child in his or her daily living.

Why Choose CEID?

At CEID, we believe in early intervention, addressing the child's developmental delays and other concerns at the earliest, prior to them enrolling in primary school.

Research states that the early ages of the child (0-5 years) is crucial and most conducive for learning to occur. By capitalizing on the rapid pace of brain development observed in these early ages, CEID can help children attain age appropriate skills and schooling as their peers.

CEID Programs

Children enrolled in CEID, will be recipient of services that are specifically designed to cater to their individual needs and to target skills and that are functionally important as well as developmentally desired. Parents can choose a wide range of our services that include:

Hence OPT uses a combination of auditory, visual and tactile stimulation to the mouth, to address the different sensory issues faced during brushing and feeding and to improve speech intelligibility.

The SLP aims to improve communicative skills of the child by working on their receptive and expressive verbal and nonverbal skills.

The aim of the program is to help a child develop normal fluency, or to eliminate or significantly reduce the child’s stuttering.

AVT is an approach that emphasizes the use of hearing (provided by hearing aid/ Cochlear implant) to help children learn to listen, process verbal language and thus enhance his speaking skills.
